About the Chef

My name is Lydia. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, a cultural melting pot. I have traveled the world and love learning about different types of flavors and how to mingle them with unexpected complements. I am a self-taught cook with years of experience in inventing daring dishes that satisfy even the less adventurous eaters.

Friends and family know me as the girl who can be feminine, but also knows how to kick it with the guys. Since most of my cooking over the years has been for my father, brother, and a variety of guy friends, I have developed an understanding of what men like to eat. My upbringing in one of the more health-conscious areas of the country taught me to be aware of what I eat and where it comes from. Most importantly, I just love good food.
