I love this dish because it is total comfort food without sacrificing the use of fresh ingredients and it's easy to eat as leftovers! My fiance calls it "man fried rice" because of how hearty it is.
3 cloves of garlic
3 tsp olive oil
Gently heat oil and add minced garlic. Cook until aroma
spreads.
1 medium red onion
3 stalks of celery
Add chopped onion first. Saute on medium high for two
minutes, then add celery and cook until onions are slightly translucent.
1lb ground beef
2 tbsp beef base
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp paprika
Mix beef base and spices into the ground beef. In a separate pan,
brown the ground beef until adequately cooked.
1 can chopped stewed tomatoes
3 cups cooked jasmine rice
Combine all ingredients and stir.
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic sriracha to taste
Tabasco sauce to taste
Stir seasonings in and adjust to taste.
Fry on high for 3 minutes, then serve.
